Actress Priyanka Chopra feels it is unfortunate that there is a clash between her upcoming film Bajirao Mastani and superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, a period love story, features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka in lead roles. Dilwale is a comedy-action film, directed by Rohit Shetty and stars Shah Rukh, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani are scheduled for release on December 18, this year.

“Both the films will do well as both are different from each other. It is unfortunate that both the films are coming together. I am hopeful that both will do well. I wish luck to the team of Dilwale,” Priyanka told PTI.

The promotions of Bajirao Mastani started in Pune last month. Ranveer and Deepika launched Gajanana song from the film, few days before the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Pune’s Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex, Balewadi Stadium.

“I am little upset the promotions have started and I couldn’t be there. But I too would be promoting the film. There will be international promotions as well which I would be part of. I am busy shooting for Quantico and then I come back for Bajirao Mastani,” Priyanka said. Her debut American show premiered in India on October 3 on Star World.

In Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer and Deepika star in titular roles of Maratha general Peshwa Bajiro I and his second wife, Mastani. Priyanka will be seen as Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai.
